KNITWEAR
Behind The Seams
Knitwear is a wardrobe staple for a reason - soft, easy to wear, and effortless to style. Its relaxed construction is what makes it so comfortable, but it also means a gentler wash routine than your everyday garments to keep it looking its best for longer.
Caring For Knitwear
Knitwear has a relaxed, soft-touch structure, which is what makes it so comfortable, but that means it needs a gentler treatment than woven fabrics to keep its shape.
With daily wear, it's completely normal for loose ends or light bobbling to appear over time. This isn't a fault, simply use a knit comb or debobbler to keep it looking fresh.

Washing Knitwear
Knitwear does better with minimal washing, so only wash when necessary. Use only a small amount of detergent, as too much can cause felting, and always wash on a gentle cycle using cold water to help prevent shrinkage.
If machine washing, place the garment in a laundry bag to prevent stretching and snagging on other items. If hand washing, avoid soaking, as prolonged water exposure can affect the fibres. Either way, never wring or tumble dry. Instead, reshape the garment gently while damp and dry flat, avoiding pulling or lifting it while wet, as knitwear is most vulnerable to stretching in this state.
Avoid hanging knitwear even once dry, as this can cause the fabric to lose its shape over time.
